Article content On Friday, April 3, at approximately 3:35 a.m., a single commercial motor vehicle (CMV) was allegedly involved in a collision on Highway 11 in Otto Township. An OPP media release states “the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision where a commercial motor vehicle was in the ditch.” According to the media release, there were no injuries to the driver or passenger. The release added that “as a result of the investigation, the driver’s licence was suspended in Ontario, therefore, the 28-year-old of Abbotsford, British Columbia, was charged with driving while under suspension.” Recommended Videos The accused is scheduled to appear before the Kirkland Lake Ontario Court of Justice on June 9, 2026.
The charge has not been tested in court, and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
