Kevin Warsh is now firmly ensconced as Fed Chair. He has conducted his first meeting. We have seen his first policy statement (terse), and now we have the Summary - Kevin Warsh, as the new Fed Chair, achieved consensus at his first meeting, shifting the policy stance from easing to neutral with no dissent.

- Five task forces—Communication, Balance Sheet, Data, Productivity & Jobs, and Inflation Framework—have been established to address persistent policy challenges. - FOMC minutes reveal broad alignment on reaction functions, though subtle differences persist on whether current policy is restrictive. - Communication and policy transparency remain critical, as past misalignments have undermined Fed credibility and complicated market expectations.
