Inclusive access
Accessibility
BCPost’s approach to an accessible reader experience.
BCPost is designed so more readers can navigate and understand its public coverage.
Website approach
The public interface uses semantic headings and landmarks, visible keyboard focus, a skip link, text alternatives for editorial images, labelled forms, high-contrast controls and responsive layouts. Motion is limited and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. New templates, content and third-party services should be reviewed for keyboard access, screen-reader clarity, text resizing and colour contrast.
Report a barrier
If something prevents you from using BCPost, send a message through the contact page. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing it.
