Corrections policy

How BCPost reviews and corrects possible errors in published coverage.

BCPost takes requests for corrections seriously.

Report an error

Use the contact form and include the article headline or URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, and any supporting information. Do not send confidential source material through the public form.

Review process

A correction request should be assessed against the available reporting and source record. A disagreement with a conclusion does not by itself establish a factual error, but material new evidence should be reviewed.

Published changes

When a material factual error is confirmed, the article should be corrected and the nature of the change disclosed clearly. Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes may be made without a formal correction note when they do not alter meaning.
