Your information
Privacy policy
How the BCPost website handles information submitted by readers.
BCPost limits reader information to what is needed to operate the website and respond to requests.
Contact submissions
When you use the contact form, BCPost stores your name, email address, subject and message so it can be reviewed. A one-way network-address fingerprint and a shortened browser identifier may be retained for abuse prevention. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe, BCPost stores your email address, consent time and subscription status. Subscription information is used for BCPost updates and can be marked unsubscribed.
Security and operational data
The website uses security controls such as CSRF protection and short-lived rate-limit records. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard server logs needed for security and reliability.
Sharing and retention
BCPost should not sell contact or subscription information. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the site or as required by law. Retention periods and any third-party email provider should be added here by the publisher when those production arrangements are finalized.
