In the bodycam footage released Monday, an officer is seen getting out of his police cruiser, walking towards a YMCA where a yoga class is happening outdoors under a tent. As he walks past the people, a man approaches the tent on an e-scooter. The officer then shouts at him repeatedly to stop as the man runs off, leaving behind his electric vehicle. The cop chases the man past a parking lot into a field where another officer joins him in the pursuit. With the officers hot on his trail, the man is seen on the ground, pointing a gun at the cop.
