In loving memory of Gerald “Jerry” Boivin 69 years. Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on Sunday, July 12th, 2026. Beloved husband of 48 years to his devoted wife Joanne (nee Cooney).
Cherished father of Jodi and Joel, and honorary father to Tony (Rob). Special Grandpa of Georgia and Brooklyn. Predeceased by his parents Guy and Simone Boivin and his brother Denis.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many family and friends. Known to many as the “Ice Cream Man”, by many customers over the years. The family would like to express a very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lacey Pitre at the cancer center, as well as the staff, nurses, PSWs and doctors at HSN and the Maison McCulloch Hospice for the excellent care provided to Jerry and his family.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
