When I initially wrote about Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. (CCEC) in October, I thought it was one of the safer shipping stocks out there. The fleet was young, and most of its earnings were locked Summary - Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. has nearly completed its exit from containerships, focusing on an expanding LNG and gas carrier fleet. - Capital Clean’s long-term charter backlog provides exceptional forward visibility, but a 2.7% yield and near-book valuation limit upside.

- Joint ventures and cheap debt financing reduce risk, yet ongoing capex and rising net debt constrain dividend growth. - I remain neutral, as Capital Clean’s predictable cash flows are offset by thin tangible returns and speculative future vessel chartering.
