Indo-Canadian Voice Charges laid following investigation into Norgate break-ins in North Vancouver posted by: Rattan Mall A West Vancouver man has been charged with several property-related offences following a police investigation. On the morning of April 23, North Vancouver RCMP received several reports of break-ins to residences and thefts from vehicles in the Norgate neighbourhood. Complainants also alleged that their credit cards had been used following the break-ins.

As a result of a comprehensive investigation, which included the execution of a search warrant, the police arrested 35-year-old Louie Muehlfarth of West Vancouver for the alleged offences. On April 25, police released him on an undertaking to attend court on July 15. On July 13, the BC Prosecution Service formally charged Muehlfarth with three counts of break-and-enter, two counts of unauthorized use of a credit card, two counts of theft under $5,000, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

His next court appearance is scheduled for July 15. Muehlfarth currently has a warrant for his arrest on an unrelated matter, and police are seeking information on his whereabouts. “These charges are the result of a thorough investigation by our frontline officers and investigators, who worked diligently to identify the suspect and gather evidence,” said Cpl.

Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer for North Vancouver RCMP. “Property crimes have a significant impact on victims, and we encourage residents to continue reporting suspicious activity to police.” Anyone with information leading to Muehlfarth’s arrest is asked to call the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311.
