The Ontario Provincial Police is inviting community-minded individuals to learn more about serving their communities as members of the OPP Auxiliary Unit. The OPP will host an Auxiliary Information Session on July 15 at the Quinte West OPP Detachment, located at 3 Dixon Drive in Trenton, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The information session will provide participants with valuable insight into the Auxiliary recruitment process, volunteer opportunities, training requirements, and the important role Auxiliary members play in supporting policing and community safety initiatives across Ontario.
The OPP Auxiliary Program offers volunteers the opportunity to work alongside uniform members at community events, crime prevention initiatives, and public education programs while gaining rewarding experience serving their communities.
