Clearmind reports mucoadhesion results for intranasal MEAI formulation

(NASDAQ:CMND) announced today results from an ex vivo mucoadhesion study evaluating its intranasal formulation of MEAI (5-Methoxy-2-aminoindane) for the treatment of Alcohol Use Disorder. The study measured the ability of the intranasal MEAI formulation to remain on nasal tissue compared with a standard MEAI solution. Using freshly isolated rabbit nasal mucosa, both formulations were applied to tissue surfaces and exposed to a simulated nasal electrolyte solution.
