It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Donat and late Bertha (née Cyr) Comtois.

It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Donat and late Bertha (née Cyr) Comtois. Loving father of Josée (Jackson Murphy) and Lesley (Chris Mitchell).

Cherished grandfather of Dylan. Survived by his sister Lorraine Pelletier (late Royal). Predeceased by his siblings; Conrad (late Velma), Claudette Gravelle (late Gilles), Rachel Sottile (Frank) and Diana Lachapelle (Jacques).

Lovingly remembered by his cousin Louis Thouin and his special friend Mardie. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will also be missed by his fury canine companion Harley.

Jean Marc was employed at Alexander Centre Industries in sales management for several years. He then went on his own doing home renovations in the Sudbury area. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, after 10:30 a service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
