Residents are advised to avoid the area until the fire has been contained.

Firefighters have contained a shed fire which spread to two houses. The incident at Copse Mead in Woodley saw Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Wokingham, Ascot, Crowthorne, Whitley Wood and Theale fire stations respond just after 14:00 BST. Crews from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service also remain on the scene, damping down hotspots.

The service said one person had been provided immediate emergency care before being placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
