We had an active weather day in the far south of Alberta on Thursday, and that risk returns Friday afternoon. In fact, there is even a decent chance of a thunderstorm in Calgary on Friday, too. Calgary will start out toasty with a temp of 18 C at 8 a.m. In the afternoon we will hit a high of 27 C, but it will feel more like 33 with the humidity.
There is a 40 per cent chance of a thunderstorm in YYC in the afternoon. Saturday will be hot, sunny and stable, but the risk of thunderstorms returns on Sunday. The storms and showers we will likely get should break the heat a little bit for a few days, so from Sunday to Tuesday we will have highs in the mid-20s.
