Fernie’s Ridgemont neighbourhood experiencing reduced water pressure Published 10:44 am Tuesday, July 14, 2026 The Ridgemont neighbourhood in Fernie will have reduced water pressure on Tuesday, July 14. Revolution Earthworks Ltd., working on behalf of North Mountain Construction Ltd. will be installing water at 302 Pine Ave., for the new affordable housing and childcare building.
The Ridgemont neighbourhood can expect low to no water pressure on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A water quality advisory is currently in effect for this area and The City asks that residents limit water to essential use only, and avoid watering lawns, dishwashers and doing laundry. The advisory will extend after the system is repressurized until Friday, July 17, based on water quality test results.
