Flooding from an early-morning storm has led to several roadway closures in north Edmonton on Wednesday. The City of Edmonton is warning motorists to avoid Yellowhead Trail from 97 Street to 184 Street and surrounding roadways due to flooding. In addition, on-ramps to the expressway were closed while crews were on scene diverting traffic.

Wednesday weather forecast Edmontonians could be in for another storm on Wednesday, according to Environment Canada. A late-afternoon thunderstorm risk was forecast, along with a chance of showers in the evening and a risk of a thunderstorm after midnight.
