With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Carlo at one of his favourite places, Trout Lake on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at the age of 71. Beloved wife and best friend of Pauline for 50 years. I take great comfort knowing he is now reunited with our cherished children Nicholas and Jennifer.
Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Ida Florio. Brother of Anna Brundia (Rocco) and the late Eugene Florio. Son-in-law of Andre Briand and the late Gladys Briand.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Carlo’s life in the Lower Lounge at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be greatly appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thank you to all of our best friends who are like our family, who have been with me through it all.
