Health Canada warns of choking risk from doll and stroller set

Health Canada is warning consumers to immediately stop using a BABESIDE Doll and Stroller Set sold on Amazon.ca because parts may detach and pose a choking hazard. The department says 24 units were sold in Canada, while a similar U.S. recall affected about 2,200 units.

The affected product is model HYBKSPJ633-CP1. The set includes a pink and red stroller, a baby doll and 23 accessories, including feeding bottles, clothing, a plush bear and other play items.

Health Canada is also advising anyone with the set to dispose of it in a way that prevents it from being used again, adding no incidents or injuries related to the product have been reported in Canada. The department says the product has been removed from sale on Amazon.ca, which reported 24 units of the affected toy set were sold between July 2025 and January 2026. A similar recall has also been issued in the United States, where about 2,200 units were affected.

Health Canada encourages consumers to regularly check the Healthy Canadians Recalls and Safety Alerts database for information on potentially dangerous products. The department is also asking consumers to report any health or safety incidents involving the toy or other consumer products by completing the Consumer Product Incident Report Form . Customers can contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
