Smoke and haze concerns continue today as the persistent northwest flow maintains wildfire smoke moving across the area. High temperatures again reach 26°C, but may be a bit lower if thicker smoke concentrations persist through the daylight hours. Winds remain from the northwest at 15km/h becoming lighter overnight.

Cloud cover varies throughout the day, though the smoke layer will obscure much of the sky. The overnight low settles to 14°C as winds diminish and smoke remains trapped near the surface. Tomorrow brings improving air quality as the smoke finally begins to clear, but chances of showers and thunderstorms increase.

The high reaches 26°C, with the low overnight near 15°C. Winds shift from the northwest to the southeast throughout the day at 10km/h. Cloud cover increases from mostly sunny in the morning to mostly cloudy by evening.

Precipitation develops during the afternoon and evening hours, with a trace to 4mm possible, especially from the night into Saturday morning. Saturday will be mostly cloudy, cooler, with a chance of showers. Daytime highs will struggle to reach 23°C with a gusty northwest wind.
