After a dominant 15-3 victory agaisnt the Chatham-Kent Barnstomers on Friday, the Kitchener Panthers will get to take that momentum into the weekend, where the Kitchener Panthers All-Star players are looking to give fans a show. While no Panthers were participating in the Home Run Derby, competing athletes gave fans a show of their power. For the third year in a row, Tyler Duncan with the Hamilton Cardinals found himself as the winner of the Home Run Derby in a night filled with the crack of the bat.

Three Panthers were selected to participate in this year’s All-Star game, including: 1B Malik Williams INF PETEY KIEFER SP EVAN ELLIOTT Panthers infielder Petey Kiefer also made an appearance during the skills competition to show off his bunting accuracy, but was unable to win the event. After today’s All-Star game, the Kitchener Panthers will have four days off before facing the Hamilton Cardinals at home on Thursday, July 16th. Kitchener currently finds themselves in 6th place in the standings with a 10-15 record, and are just outside of a playoff spot.
