Langley’s tbird hosts country music concert Published 9:00 am Friday, July 17, 2026 Langley’s Thunderbird Showpark will be taking a break from its usual show jumping to showcase live country music later this summer during its Summer Sound Off concert. Featuring country artists Brett Kissel and Chad Brownlee, with special guests Karen Lee Batten and Morgan Griffiths, the event will take place outdoors. Concert attendees will be able to choose from several seating options depending on their budget and preferred experience.

General admission, or elevated grandstand seating, is available for $45. The first-come, first-served bleacher seating offers an open-air view of the stage. The $65 ticket option provides standing-room access close to the stage, where people can bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, creating a more festival-style setting with room to mingle and dance.

The Pink Soirée offers covered, elevated seating. Guests will have access to a cash bar serving beer, wine, and cider, as well as complimentary charcuterie and fruit platters, and entry to the VIP paddock near the stage. Tickets for the Pink Soirée cost between $95 and $105, depending on the seating.

The highest-tier option is a VIP table package, costing $1,200 for six people. It includes a private table in the VIP Pavilion, access to a premium buffet, a VIP cash bar serving cocktails, beer, wine, and cider, and exclusive entry to the VIP paddock. While Thunderbird Showpark is best known for hosting international equestrian competitions, the venue also hosts community events.

Earlier in the day, the RCMP Musical Ride will also be taking place at tbird. Located at 6975 248 St., the equestrian park opens its gates for the Summer Sound Off at 5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.showpass.com/tbird-summer-sound-off/.
