The Senate is holding confirmation hearings to examine the nominations of Todd Blanche as attorney general and Jay Clayton as director of national intelligence. Senators have grilled Blanche on the Jeffrey Epstein files, President Trump's settlement with the IRS and more, including whether Trump is eligible for a third term. "I don't believe he is," Blanche replied when asked that.

Acting Director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection Russell Vought is also testifying in the House.
