Version 2.0 of Dunvegan’s Meet Me on Main Street was hosted at the Glengarry Pioneer Museum with much success. While hail rained down on organizers as they set up the event, raising worries that the event might have to be postponed for a second time, the skies cleared for a beautiful evening gathering. There was live music to entertain the crowds with appearances by The Panoramic and Neil Emberg with Ashley MacLeod-McRae.
There was mini-putt and beanbag toss, along with building blocks and toys for the littlest visitors. Township Council members were in attendance along with MP Eric Duncan who always makes time in his schedule to attend local events across SDG Counties. North Glengarry’s Director of Community Services, Stephanie MacRae, said well over 200 people attended event.
The evening felt like an extended Canada Day celebration.
