It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Ann Robson, age 79, who left us on July 13, 2026, at her home in Meaford, Ontario, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was a devoted wife, an extraordinary mother and grandmother, and a wonderful friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on March 19, 1947, in Maple, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Rilla Saigeon.

Carol married Bill Robson in June 1968, and they spent their first few years residing in Fort Macleod, Alberta, before they bought and operated Walters Falls Milling Company. She spent her life creating a warm, welcoming home and dedicating herself to the people she loved. For many years, Carol worked as the bookkeeper for their business and was a dedicated homemaker.

She enjoyed bowling, curling, golfing, lawn bowling, and was an avid reader. She volunteered within her community, one of which was at Participation Lodge, and loved baking for events. Her greatest joy, however, was her family, as she cherished every moment spent with them, especially summer visits with her grandchildren.

Carol will be forever remembered by her son Bradley Robson and his spouse Lisa and her cherished grandchildren, Emma Jane and Alyssa Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her beloved son Jeffrey Robson. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors for their compassionate care during her final days.

A private graveside service celebrating her life will take place at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford with immediate family only. As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Brightshores Meaford Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., Meaford, ON, N4L 1B9, to whom arrangements have been entrusted. www.fergusonfuneralhomes.ca
