It is with great sadness that the family of John Alan Oswald and Gwendolyn Ann Oswald (Hobbs) announce their passing on Wednesday July 15, 2026. Alan was in his 93rd year and Ann in her 92nd. After 71 years of a very loving marriage the final ending was their choice.
Alan was a proud member of the Canadian Air Force for 30 years and Ann was the ‘rock’, looking after the family during many transfers in Canada and Europe. In later years they joined the North Bay Yacht Club where they made many good friends. They leave behind daughter Pamela, granddaughter Lindsey, grandson Brandon (Karen), great granddaughter Maya and son David (predeceased).
Following cremation, an interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in North Bay. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home.
