Health Canada has recalled a Cuisinart gas grill because its pizza oven glass can shatter during use, posing laceration risks.
If you own this Cuisinart gas grill, you could be entittled to a refund of up to $500 USD after Health Canada issued a recall over a shattering glass hazard. The recall, issued Thursday, applies to the Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grills with Pizza Oven. The product’s model number CGG-6331 can be found on a label inside of the right-hand metal door.
Health Canada said the gas grill is being recalled over concerns the tempered glass window in the pizza oven can shatter during use, creating a laceration risk.  Conair reported that 83 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and about 12,600 units were sold in the United States between December 2024 and May 2026. As of June 25, the company has received one incident report in Canada and 37 incident reports in the U.S., but no injury reports in both countries. Health Canada advises consumers to stop using the recalled Cuisinart gas gill immediately and check Conair’s website to determine whether their grill is included in the recall.
If affected, customers should follow the company’s instructions to safely remove the tempered glass window on the pizza oven. They must then upload two photos to Conair’s website: one of the removed glass and one of the grill’s serial number. Â “Upon verification, consumers will receive a $500 USD refund by check or be reimbursed for the original purchase amount with proof of receipt,” reads the recall notice.
After receiving their refund, consumers should write the word “recall” with black sharpie marker on the tempered glass and dispose of it, Health Canada advises.
