Power outage hits north central Sask. following major storm SaskPower reported that it was responding to outages in the entire ‘Central North’ portion of the province Saturday night. An estimated time of repair was not provided.
The entire city of Prince Albert went black around 10:50 p.m. following a major storm that brought destructive winds, heavy rain, hail and lightning. Several streets saw localized flooding. There were also downed branches, however, the full extent of damage was not visible in the dark.
