Earnings season is upon us. The Mag 7s are all due to report quarterly results in the next few weeks. As a long term investor, I rarely find myself caring about a particular quarter's result.

Yet, I think the next Summary - I think Silicon Valley has shifted to 'definite optimism,' prioritizing AI investment and CapEx over share buybacks, fueling a new era for US equities. - The market is likely to focus on companies' AI efficiency roadmaps, unit economics, and future deployment strategies rather than immediate ROI in upcoming earnings. - Energy and compute bottlenecks limit mass AI adoption; qualitative AI progress and cost-reduction plans will drive near-term sentiment.
