Q32 Bio's Part B data showed meaningful hair regrowth in severe alopecia areata, including for JAK-experienced patients. Learn why QTTB stock is a buy.

Q32 Bio Inc. (QTTB) is a small-cap biotech company developing treatments for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Its main drug, bempikibart (ADX-914), is being tested in the Phase 2a SIGNAL-AA trial for alopecia areata (AA). The company recently reported positive 36-week Summary - Q32 Bio’s Part B data showed meaningful hair regrowth in severe alopecia areata, including for JAK-experienced patients.

- Bempikibart also seems to be relatively safe, and its treatment benefits appear to last well after finishing treatment. - These factors could help differentiate Bempikibart from other continuously dosed JAK inhibitors. - However, the main caveat to that good news is that bempikibart’s trial was small and open-label.

So we need to wait for the aggregate week 52 durability data. - Overall, QTTB’s recent clinical progress corroborates my initial optimism on their pipeline. So, I reiterate my speculative “buy” rating on the stock.
