Raiders prospect Shingoose invited to National U17 development camp Prince Albert Raiders prospect Athens Shingoose is among 80 players from across the country invited to Hockey Canada’s U17 World Hockey Challenge Development Camp. The camp runs July 17–21 in Oakville, ON. Shingoose, drafted by the Raiders in 2025, played his rookie season with RHA Winnipeg U18 Prep in 2025-26.
The 16-year-old was a point per game player, as he scored 15 goals and added 16 assists for 31 points in 30 games. That was good enough to lead his team in scoring. He finished six points ahead of the team’s next leading scorer, Spencer Kuntz who had 25.
Shingoose also recorded 66 penalty minutes, and a team-leading five power-play goals.
