Last week's data calendar was light, and the S&P 500 (SPY) looked set for a quiet mid-summer week of trading. However, Wednesday's escalation in Iran brought some volatility, if only briefly. Stocks shrugged it off and even broke Summary - Technically, the S&P 500 looks great.

It looks set for a bullish breakout after 6 weeks of consolidation. - However, that break may fail and move more sideways than up. - This article looks at three reasons why the S&P 500 is set up for disappointment in Q3.
