The SRD wants feedback on the Area D Parks and Trails plan Published 1:30 am Sunday, July 12, 2026 The Strathcona Regional District wants public input on the new draft parks and trails plan for Electoral Area D. According to an SRD release, the Parks and Trails Plan will guide future improvements and investments in parks and trails, helping create a well-connected network of outdoor recreation spaces that meets the needs of residents and visitors.
It has been shaped by community input gathered during earlier public engagement sessions this year. To finish the public engagement process, the SRD is releasing the draft plan again and holding opportunities through July for people to review and give feedback before it is finalized. There is an online survey, which is available until July 17.
The Survey is available on the SRD website.
