Solo dining in the city can be intimidating, but the ninja theme and quality food at Nin Nin make for an approachable experience.
Solo dining in a restaurant can be intimating. Weird eye contact from the host asking for a table for one, taking up space intended for bigger parties, etc. Or maybe it’s just all in my head.
That's one of many reasons why I love coming to Nin Nin Ramen near Rogers Arena and BC place, often by myself. With a fun ninja-clad shiba inu theme, the restaurant has mostly counter seating where you have your own personal electronic tablet to order from. Service is quick and friendly, the ramen is highly customizable (noodle firmness, toppings, soy/spice level) and the broth is rich with pork bone umami flavours but not too thick.
It's a sister location to Horin, so expect similar quality. Ramen costs around $18 to $20, with discounts if you join Nin Nin's membership program. I ended my meal with a matcha pudding that was creamy, rich and just the right amount of sweetness.
Overall I enjoyed it and would come back for a quick meal before a concert or sports game in the area. 📍NiN NiN Ramen House 660 Abbott St. Watch my full review on TikTok @forkingawesomevia Solo dining can be intimidating. That's one of the reasons why @Vancityjessie loves going to Nin Nin Ramen near BC Place in Vancouver, often by herself. The broth is rich, the noodles are thin and the service is quick and friendly. Not to mention the fun atmosphere!
