Twin Rivers Strengthfest returns to Sandman Centre for its largest event yet Showing off their strength Twin Rivers Strengthfest returned to Sandman Centre over the weekend for its largest event yet. More than 250 athletes were expected to attend, competing in powerlifting, strongman and, new this year, arm wrestling. The new arm wrestling tournament took place inside the Kia Lounge, where competitors chalked up and went head-to-head.

The weekend featured multiple weight classes and divisions, with the event wrapping up by crowning the 2026 Kamloops Strongest Man and Kamloops Strongest Woman.
