Just before 5 p.m., a paramedic patrolling the area discovered a woman with stab wounds to the head near the 200 block of Rideau Street, a spokesperson told CBC.
She was rushed to hospital in critical, but stable condition. As of Tuesday night, Ottawa police haven't released any information about the incident. Second reported stabbing in the ByWard Market this week On Monday night, Paramedics said another victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, after he was stabbed during an attempted robbery near Dalhousie Street and George Street.
According to Ottawa police, that investigation is ongoing.
