Wonder and Joy for the Wired and Tired earns award for former Kamloops author

author Book earns gold medal Former Kamloops resident Pam Stephens Lehenbauer has received international recognition for her book, Wonder and Joy for the Wired and Tired. The book received the 2026 Independent Publisher Book Awards Gold Medal for Outstanding Book of the Year in the inspirational and spiritual category. Published last summer, the book was also named one of Aspire Magazine’s Top 10 inspiring books for July 2026. Stephens Lehenbauer, an epidemiologist and nurse practitioner, lived in Kamloops for more than 30 years before moving to northern Kentucky. She now works as an adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University.
