Abducted Alberta children possibly in B.C.: RCMP The case is connected to an Amber Alert that was issued on July 8 and then rescinded Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is still seeking assistance in locating missing children Lanakai and Karl Morrison. They are believed to be with Lanakai’s mother Krista Morrison and Karl’s father Daniel Ludwig, possibly in British Columbia.

Krista Morrison and Ludwig are both wanted for abduction in contravention of a custody/parenting order. Police say the children are at risk. The case is connected to an Amber Alert that was issued on July 8 and then rescinded.

Police say there was "indication" the four were in B.C.'s Okanagan Valley near Vernon, and possibly travelling east toward the Kootenays. "They are very mobile and could be in Northern B.C., the Yukon or Alberta. They were last believed to be driving in a 2006 Red Ford F350 that has a lift and larger tires or may be driving a motorhome," said an media release from the Alberta RCMP.

Lanakai Morrison, age six, has a slight build, long light brown hair and brown eyes, police say. Karl Morrison, four, has blonde hair. Krista Morrison is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, long brown hair and eyes.

She is 35 years old. Daniel Ludwig, also 35, is 5-feet 11-inches, has a large build, brown hair and brown eyes, police say. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
