Athletic talent: MacIsaac, Lawrence, Marinelli received Riverview High School athletes of the year for 2025-26

Riverview High School held their annual athletic awards banquet last month prior to the end of the 2025-26 school year. Cohen MacIsaac and Nick Lawrence were named the co-male athletes of the year, while Rhysa Marinelli was named the female athlete of the year for the School Sport Nova Scotia season. MacIsaac was the most valuable player for golf and claimed the top forward award for the hockey team, while Lawrence picked up the most valuable player award for hockey and the top offensive most valuable player for junior varsity soccer.

Marinelli captured most valuable player honours in golf and varsity volleyball, while also taking home the coaches award for senior track and field, and the most versatile player for junior varsity soccer.
