Celebration of Life: SYRETTE, Timothy (Tim)

January 20, 1948 - September 19th, 2025 Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on July 26 2:00 - 5:00pm at the SSM Royal Canadian Legion, 96 Great Northern Road. Tim passed in Okanagan Falls BC, on September 19th, 2025.

January 20, 1948 - September 19th, 2025 Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on July 26 2:00 - 5:00pm at the SSM Royal Canadian Legion, 96 Great Northern Road. Tim passed in Okanagan Falls BC, on September 19th, 2025. Tim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Darlene Syrette.

Loving father and mentor to his children, Buddy Syrette and Angel Jury (Todd). Proud Gramps to his grand daughters Haven and Liberty Jensen and great grandson Luxton Nash. Very much loved and respected son of the late Kathleen and Louis (Nuggs) Syrette.

Cherished brother to his remaining sisters, Charlotte Zack (Darren), Elaine McDonagh and Colleen McCabe (Orville), and his late siblings, Dianne Jones (Harry), Edward Syrette, Mickey Syrette (Jay), Paul Syrette, Susie McCabe (Doug) and Marcel Syrette. (all from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario)

A veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy serving Canada for 40 years between CFB Halifax and CFB Esquimalt Victoria. Tim was very active with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 227 Okanagan Falls. Tim was instrumental in the development of recognition honouring all Indigenous Service members, their contributions and active participation in the Canadian Forces.

He is a proud member of the Batchewana First Nation. Tim retired on the west coast and remained in British Columbia until his passing. He was a kind man who lived a life with honor, integrity and humour.

There is no goodbye, Baamaa Pii Brother - until we meet again.
