The Alberta RCMP major crimes unit is still seeking assistance in locating two missing children, Lanakai and Karl Morrison. They are believed to be with Lanakai’s mother, Krista Morrison, and Karl’s father, Daniel Ludwig.
“There was indication they were in B.C in the Okanagan Valley near Vernon, possibly travelling east towards the Kootenays,” said RCMP Cpl Gina Slaney in a statement Friday afternoon. “They are very mobile and could be in Northern B.C., the Yukon or Alberta.” She said the two were last believed to be driving in a red 2006 Ford F350 that has a lift kit installed with oversize tires, or may be driving a motorhome.
Lanakai Morrison is described as six years old with a slight build, long, light brown hair and brown eyes. Karl Morrison is described as four years old with blonde hair. Krista Morrison, 35, is described as five-foot, eight inches inches tall with a medium build, long, dark brown hair and brown eyes.
