Dallas Paul Martin Published July 17, 2026 In Loving Memory ~ June 29, 1946 ~ June 11, 2026 It is with great sadness to announce Dallas’s sudden passing at Campbell River Hospital caused by a massive heart attack. Dallas was born in Vancouver to Jack and Linda Martin.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Annette. Their children; Michelle, Ronald (Michelle), Stephen (Kim) and Sharon. Siblings Wayne (Edith), Janis (Warren), John (Sandy), Mary-Ann (Wayne).

Predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Calvin and Jamie. Dallas and Annette are blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. They were Mamé and Papé to them all.

Dallas served in the Canadian Armed Forces. His postings were in Summerside, P.E.I., (where he and Annette met); Petawawa, Ontario and then Comox B.C. He retired afte 21 years at which time he went into business, Dalron Systems Ltd.

He was a hard worker. He was respected as a kind employer and would always do his best to serve his customers well. He retired from the business in 2016.

He spent the last ten years enjoying working on cars, trucks and motorcycles. Motorcycles became his favourite fun-time. He loved having coffee with the guys at Jack’s Motorcycles and outings with Jack travelling up and down the island.

Dallas will be remembered as a quiet and friendly man, always willing to help a friend or neighbour. He was a jack of all trades. You will be missed by many Dallas
