The Ottawa Police Service says a 40-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash near Fallowfield Station on May. A 29-year-old woman died of her injuries after being hit by a vehicle on May 11, on Fallowfield Road at Via Park Place, near the Via Rail station and OC Transpo Park and Ride. In a news release on Monday, police said the driver involved in the crash is now facing a charge of careless driving causing death.
Police did not name the man and said the investigation is now concluded.
