The Alex Dufresne Gallery is pleased to present the opening reception of The Art of Small Joys, a vibrant group exhibition featuring the work of more than 40 artists from across the region and beyond. The opening will take place Saturday, July 18, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Callander. The exhibition celebrates the beauty found in everyday moments, inviting visitors to pause and appreciate the simple pleasures that enrich our lives.

Through a diverse collection of artworks, The Art of Small Joys explores themes of gratitude, connection, creativity, nature, and the experiences that bring meaning and happiness to daily life. Featuring artists working in a wide variety of mediums and styles, the exhibition showcases paintings, photography, mixed media, pottery, and more. The collection offers something for every visitor, reflecting the unique perspectives and artistic voices of the participating artists.

The Art of Small Joys is a celebration of the moments that inspire us, comfort us, and remind us of the beauty that surrounds us. The opening reception will feature free museum admission, light refreshments and a chance to meet and mingle with some of the participating artists.
