A vehicle incident is slowing traffic on Highway 97 north of Cache Creek

Highway 97 reduced to alternating traffic after vehicle incident north of Cache Creek Crash slows Hwy 97 traffic A vehicle incident is slowing traffic on Highway 97 north of Cache Creek. First responders were called to the scene of a crash just after 4 p.m. DriveBC said it received a report of a vehicle that had gone down an embankment about three kilometres north of Cache Creek on Highway 97.

The incident is located between Church Road and Pare Road, and has reduced traffic to single lane alternating traffic. A witness told Castanet that paramedics at the scene appeared to be attending to a man near a commercial truck that had gone off the road. DriveBC said crews are on scene assessing the situation.
