Hope Mountain Centre holds volunteer appreciation event Published 11:53 am Friday, July 17, 2026 Hope Mountain Centre for Outdoor Learning holds a volunteer appreciation and engagement event on Wednesday, Aug. 26. The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Coquihalla Elementary, 455 Sixth Ave. The free event is a casual social to connect with and thank current volunteers for their support and to engage with people who would like to learn more about the organization and volunteer opportunities.
Food and drinks will be provided. There is a large picnic table on site, but guests are asked to bring a chair if possible. The family-friend event also includes music and games.
There will be a few short speeches at 5:30 p.m. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP at hopemountain.org, by email at info@hopemountain.org or by phone at 604-869-1274. Hope Mountain Centre offers a range of education programs open to the general public; environmental education programs in the class and out in the field with students, connecting Indigenous youth with their land; and naturalist programs and presentations at E.C. Manning Park.
