In Loving Memory of Frances Joanne "Franny" Kennedy April 10, 1937 - July 13, 2026 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Joanne "Franny" Kennedy, who left this world peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, compassion, and cherished memories. Franny was the beloved soulmate of Farouk Sabet for 45 wonderful years. Together they shared a life filled with love, companionship, adventure, and unwavering devotion.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Jack and Frances Kennedy and the eldest of six children. Franny was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Malevris and her husband, Nicolas, and by her brother, John Kennedy. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Trudy Bolduc (Peter), Mary Ellen Kennedy (Robert Dault), and Michael Kennedy (Brenda).

Franny was also a much-loved aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Franny answered her calling to care for others by training as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Sudbury. Her nursing career brought her to the Caribbean and Toronto, where she touched the lives of many through her skill, kindness, and compassion.

An adventurous spirit, Franny travelled the world and spent many happy winters in Florida. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, sense of adventure, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and caring that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A celebration of Franny's life will take place at a later date. Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
