Article content Uncertain future I, for one, have made up my mind on Alberta separation. I intend to vote to stay in Canada.

Things would be totally different if we were voting on ‘Western’ separation but alas, Alberta going it alone is just a bad idea. If the vote included Saskatchewan, B.C. and possibly Manitoba as well as Alberta, that would be a different can of worms but Alberta on its own? No way!

We’d be a pariah in our own land with hypothetical enemies on all sides. In my view the only friend we’d have is the Americans, and, as history has shown, their friendship comes with not just strings attached but with steel cables welded around the neck. No, there’s just too much uncertainty surrounding going it alone.

Does Kent Wilson have a good word to say about anyone or anything pertaining to the Flames? Nemec hasn’t played a game here yet, but Mr. Wilson sees fit to trash the person and the player, as well as Craig Conroy. Maybe his questionable writing skills and opinion would be better served somewhere else, maybe The Centre of the Universe?
