A 22-year-old man has been arrested after police say he was caught driving while impaired in Saint John, N.B., Sunday afternoon. The Saint John Police Force had blocked both ends of Westfield Road to deal with a fire and ensure emergency crews could do their work. “A passenger vehicle, at a high rate of speed, entered the blocked area, nearly struck the parked police vehicle and fire trucks operating at the scene,” reads a news release from the force .
