Evan Blass recently shared a massive batch of official-looking marketing images from Samsung.

The photos contain all three foldables planned for a July 22 release – the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. As marketing photos go, some contain specifications and disclaimers. These more or less confirm some of the details we already knew, such as the 50MP wide and ultra-wide cameras on the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

We also get confirmation of a 50MP ultra wide, 200MP wide lens, and 10MP telephoto option on the premium Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 gets a 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide. Battery is listed as 5,000mAh on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and 4,300mAh on the Galaxy Z Flip 8.

The batch of images doesn’t include one that specifically details the Galaxy Z Fold 8’s capacity beyond a claim for 26 hours of video playback. Recent leaks suggest a 4,800mAh unit. A wider design for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 positions it as the better choice for media consumption, as seen in multiple images.

Samsung also made sure to include pictures of the Galaxy Z Fold 8’s front display on Instagram, which gives us a better idea of what the experience will be like on the more routine apps. Images for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra seem to be geared towards multitasking and creative apps, as the pictures bring a more “performance” vibe than general use. There are no side-on shots of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, but previous leaks suggest it’ll come in at 4.5mm while the Ultra variant will be slightly thinner at 4.1mm when unfolded.

Comparatively, not much of a difference in thickness. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Galaxy Z Fold 8 Galaxy Z Flip 8 Despite rising prices, a janky free storage upgrade system, and a rather confusing spec distribution, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra look like excellent upgrades over the previous, singular model. A wider form factor that still allows for multitasking and a performance-focused variant seems like a good split.

Time will tell, though. Galaxy Unpacked is set for July 22, and Samsung has reservations open.
