Multi-vehicle collision slows traffic on Highway 97 in Kelowna Published 11:41 am Wednesday, July 15, 2026 A three-vehicle pile-up has slowed traffic on Highway 97 in Kelowna on Wednesday morning. The rear-end collision took place in the northbound lane of Highway 97 near the intersection of Highway 33 at approximately 11:20 a.m., resulting in a quick response from emergency crews, including police and firefighters. Northbound traffic on Highway 97 has been reduced to two lanes while emergency crews assess the situation, tend to those involved and clean up the area.

A Black Press reporter at the scene says one vehicle involved was able to drive away, but two cars remain at the crash site and may need to be towed. It is not known at this time if anyone was injured in the crash. Drivers heading north on Highway 97 and Highway 33 should expect delays.
